CM Sai will take important meeting

Chief Minister will inaugurate Satya Sai Sanjeevani Nursing College at 2 pm. After this, the Chief Minister will return to his residence at 3:20 pm.
Congress nomination rally
Congress party will take out a rally today to file nomination of its candidate Akash Sharma for Raipur South by-election. This rally will start from Gandhi Maidan at 11 am and will go till the Collector Office. A large number of workers including Congress State President Deepak Baij will be present in the rally.
So far 16 candidates have filed nominations
So far 16 candidates have submitted nominations for Raipur South by-election-2024. Today Sunil Kumar Soni from BJP, Akash Sharma from Congress, Savita Banjare from Shakti Sena, and independents Sheikh Zainab Begum, Haider Bhati, Radheshwari Gaikwad have submitted their nomination papers. Candidates can file nominations till October 25, and scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on October 28.
Preparation for three-tier Panchayat elections
The preliminary publication of the election list for the three-tier Panchayat elections will be done today. Applications for name registration, amendment or deletion can be made till October 29. Instructions for preliminary publication have been issued to collectors of all districts.

Income Tax Department has issued toll free number 18002337010 to register complaint regarding South Assembly by-election. A control room has also been set up in Nava Raipur for the by-election, where action will be taken against illegal exchange of money and property.
National Golf Championship organized for the first time in Chhattisgarh
For the first time in Chhattisgarh, National Golf Championship will be organized in Nava Raipur from today till 26th October. Teams from 20 states of the country will participate in this competition, in which teams of 6 members from each state will participate. The championship will start with the caddy tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the competition, in which the winner will receive Rs 10 lakh and the runner-up will receive Rs 6 lakh. Chief Minister Sai will participate in the closing program of this grand event, which will make the event even more special. Through this championship, enthusiasm and talent for golf will be promoted in Chhattisgarh.
Demonstration of Teacher Sangharsh Morcha
Chhattisgarh Shikshak Sangharsh Morcha will demonstrate today in support of 5-point demands. All the teachers will take mass leave and protest in the district headquarters. Purkhauti Muktangan closed today
Purkhauti Muktangan Open Museum will remain closed on 24 and 25 October in view of the proposed visit of President Draupadi Murmu. Necessary repair and cleaning work is being done here from safety point of view. The museum will reopen for tourists from October 26.
