According to the information received, the body of a young man has been found in a drain in Mohmela village under Arang police station area. The young man has been identified as Rohit Kurre (age 26 years), a resident of Mohmela. The police has done the Panchnama proceedings and sent the body for post-mortem.

Arang police station in-charge Rajesh Singh said that Rohit Kurre, a resident of village Mohmela, was sitting on the drain built to take water to the farmers’ fields at around 8.30 pm. During this time, he fell down into the water, where he died by drowning. According to the information, the deceased was addicted to drinking alcohol. The police have suspected that Rohit Kurre fell down from the drain due to being intoxicated with alcohol. However, the police is investigating all the aspects closely.
