There has been a stir in the area due to the disappearance of Pushpendra Thakur, a class 2 student from Government Primary School Bihajhar in Bagbahra police station area of the district. The student’s family has registered a case of kidnapping at Bagbahra police station. The police have registered a case against unknown persons under section 137 (2) of BNS for kidnapping and are busy in locating the student.
The student’s grandfather Sonu Thakur told the media that the school people informed that the child was studying in the school. A woman came and left with the child. As per his advice, I have registered a case at Bagbahra police station. School headmaster Pradeep Verma says that the child’s mother had come to meet him. She had come once or twice even before this. We thought that we would have a normal meeting, but the child’s mother took the child away without informing us. After this, this information was given to the child’s family. Later I came to know that the child’s mother lives in her maternal home.
Dispute going on between parents, wife lives in maternal house
In this matter, SDOP says that yesterday evening the child’s family informed that Pushpendra Thakur, aged 8 years, is a class 2 student, who has not come home and has taken some woman with him. In the investigation, prima facie it has been found that it was taken by a female member of the family but this has not been confirmed, hence a case is being registered against unknown people and investigation is being done. According to the information, there is a dispute going on between the child’s parents and the woman lives in her maternal home. In this case, Additional SP Pratibha Pandey said, the child is with his mother. Due to family dispute, his mother lives in her maternal home. The matter will be resolved soon.
