Raipur. The Chhattisgarh Mahtari temple located at Guru Baba Ghasidas Nagar Ghadi Chowk in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, which was in a dilapidated condition for the last many years, is now adorned with a new aura. This temple, which is a symbol of the struggle for state building, has been renovated by “Mahatari Seva”, a team of youth associated with Chhattisgarhia Kranti Sena.

Let us tell you that there was dissatisfaction among the local people regarding the condition of the temple for some time. No one was paying attention towards this temple surrounded by dirty drains and garbage. But, the Mahtari Seva team took up the task of changing this situation and worked hard to restore the temple. This team includes Kamlesh Sahu, Anil Sinha, Manoj Sahu, Deepak Sahu, Ajay Sahu, Lilesh Yadav, and Hemant Sahu. These youth not only cleaned the temple but also decorated it and paid their respect to Chhattisgarh Mahtari.

Mahtari Seva team says that today i.e. 20th October will be known as a historical day of Chhattisgarh, when this old tradition of Chhattisgarh Mahtari has been revived. The coming generations will remember this day and keep the spirit of Chhattisgarhianism alive.
