Raigarh. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi today, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the 39th Chakradhar Samaroh at Ramlila Maidan. The ceremony started with Ganesh Puja and Vandan as well as the state song of Chhattisgarh. During this, Raigarh MLA and Finance Minister OP Choudhary raised the demand for a music college from the stage. On this, CM Sai has announced to open a music college in Raigarh.
CM Sai told the journalists during this time that we are hopeful that the Chakradhar Samaroh will be completed smoothly and the blessings of Lord Ganesha will remain on everyone. For the last 15 years, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh regularly participated in the ceremony and fulfilled all the demands. At present, the need for a music college is being felt, which our Bharatiya Janata Party government will fulfill.
Let us tell you that various cultural programs are being organized to make this year’s celebration even more special. On the first day, Padma Shri Hema Malini will present the dance drama ‘Radha Raas Bihari’, while a confluence of Kathak and Karma dance will also be seen. For the next 10 days, Raigarh will be full of art and culture, in which a total of 62 events will be held. In this event, along with the famous artists of the country, national and international level artists will also give their performances. Artists honored with Padma Shri will also be a part of this ceremony. Every year, large scale preparations are made in Raigarh for this event, during which artists from all over the country come here to exhibit their art.
