Since no initiative has been taken till now, the operators reached the bungalow of Minister OP Choudhary today, where the demands of the complainants were not heard, but the police chased away the operators from near the bungalow, threatening to send them to jail.
President of Paddy Purchase Computer Operators Association, Rishikant Mohare said, the protest site has been locked. Where should we protest to convey our voice to the government? Today the minister had reached OP Choudhary’s bungalow, but the police issued a threatening letter, threatened to send him to jail and chased him away from there. Where should we present our demands now? With whom to do it?
Operator union president Mohre said, the indefinite strike is being crushed. From September 18, 2024, Chhattisgarh Support Price Paddy Purchase Computer Operators Association is agitating for its two-point demands. Today is the 35th day of the movement. No matter what the government or police does, we will not end our strike. We will keep our demands.
Employees working without department for 17 years
He said, employees and officers may be of different categories, but their department is fixed, but the surprising thing is that the computer operators who purchase paddy have been working for the last 17 years but their department is not fixed. 6-7 different departments work with them.
These are two-point demands
Since 2007, the year of computerization of support price paddy procurement, the department of data entry operators working for the last 17 years should be decided and they should be regularized. Secondly, the benefit of 27 percent salary increase issued in the financial instructions of the government should be given. Data entry operators are carrying out indefinite agitation regarding these two issues.
Registration for paddy purchase is being disrupted
The completion of registration for paddy purchase in the society is hampered due to the strike of computer operators. The society has gone completely offline, due to which farmers have to wander for registration. Operators of all the societies are on strike. In such a situation, a big question is how will the paddy be purchased?
