Raigarh. Incidents of assault and robbery are being reported every day in the district. Today, two unknown people booked a car on rent from the railway station under Kotra Road police station area and took it towards Tipa Khol. Where they attacked the driver with a knife and fled with the car. After getting information about the incident, the police has started investigating the case. A CCTV footage related to this incident has also surfaced in which the accused were captured sitting in the car with the driver and leaving.

SP Divyaang Patel confirmed the incident while talking to the media. He said that two unknown persons hired a car from the railway station and went near Teepa Khol and stabbed the driver with a knife and fled with his car (car number – CG13BA5441). The police took immediate action and formed different teams. A crime has been registered in the case and efforts are being made to arrest the accused as soon as possible.
