Before 22 July, Sub-Divisional Officer Pooja Bansal went on leave and in her place Deputy Collector Prachi Thakur has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer in charge. According to the complainant, on 23 July, the very next day after taking charge, the officer went shopping in the official vehicle CG 02 H0042 along with the driver in shopping malls located in Durg-Bhilai and Raipur. She stayed at her house in Bhilai at night. After this, the driver left the officer and the vehicle and returned to Balod by bus at 11 pm.
