In this way, the number of Naxalites who died in the encounter has reached 34. At the same time, 6-7 more Naxalites are said to be injured, who are not getting treatment. Actually, some media persons had reached the encounter site. Meanwhile, the villagers of Thulthuli and Gavadi told that they had seen Naxalites burning the dead bodies of their 3 comrades in the forest. On the other hand, Dantewada SP Gaurav Roy has also said that news of burning of dead bodies of 3 Naxalites has been received on Monday, but he cannot confirm it yet. Know why you could not take it with you
It is said that there was a gathering of about 60 Naxalites at the encounter site. In such a situation, the number of Naxalites killed was more than the remaining Naxalites. At least two people are required to dispose of a Naxalite’s body. In such a situation, the Naxalites could not take the bodies of their killed comrades with them even if they wanted to. When the soldiers overwhelmed him, he thought it best to run away from the spot.
Death toll may increase
According to sources, 8-10 Naxalites have been injured in the encounter with security forces, out of which 3 have died. Those who are remaining are not getting proper treatment, due to which their condition is worsening day by day. In such a situation, the death of some of them cannot be ruled out. If this happens then the number of deaths may increase further.
Commander Kamlesh also got injured
According to SP Gaurav Roy, there is a possibility of Dandakaranya Committee member and most wanted Naxalite leader in 5 states Kamlesh being injured in the encounter, because there was talk of his presence at the spot along with Special Zonal Committee member Neeti alias Urmila. Probably, after getting injured, Kamlesh managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. The Naxalites also became weak due to his injury.
