Ramkumar Yadav, Sarguja. The body of a mason missing for three months in the district has been found under a tank built under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The crime has been committed in the style of the film Drishyam. The water tank was brought down by a JCB and after digging 15 feet, the police took out the body, which had turned into a complete skeleton.

This incident is from Lurena village of Mainpat in Surguja district. Mason Sandeep Lakra had gone missing since June under suspicious circumstances. The police conducted a thorough investigation on his missing report but nothing was found. When the contractor and his associates were questioned again, the police got success. Mason Sandeep was murdered and his body was buried in the foundation dug for the construction of a water tank. Let us tell you that Abhishek Pandey, the contractor of Jal Jeevan Mission, had lodged a complaint of theft against the deceased in Mainpat police station.

There was anger over the theft incident

When the police strictly interrogated contractor Abhishek Pandey and his associates two days ago, the secret of this incident was revealed. The contractor and his associates told that there was resentment over the theft. Sandeep was beaten up and he died the next morning. After this, Sandeep’s body was taken 60 kilometers away and buried in the foundation dug for a water tank and a water tank was built on it.
