The Meteorological Department has issued yellow and orange alerts for the next two days. During this time, there is a possibility of light rain in some districts and heavy to very heavy rain in some places.

So far, Bijapur has received the highest rainfall of 1065.3 mm, while Surajpur has received the lowest rainfall of 263.2 mm. Balod has received 624.4 mm and Sukma has received 771.6 mm rainfall more than normal. Balrampur, Surajpur, Surguja, Jashpur, Bemetara, Korea, Durg, Janjgir, Korba, Mahasamund, Manendragarh-Bharatpur, Raigarh, Raipur, Sakti, Saranggarh, Bilaigarh have still received less rainfall.

There is a possibility of rain in these districts

The weather department has issued an alert for 24 and 48 hours in many districts. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Korea, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Gaurela-Pendra Marwahi, Korba, Raipur, Balodabazar, Mahasamund, Durg, Balod, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Bastar, Dantewada and Narayanpur districts. At the same time, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Bilaspur, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, Mungeli, Kanker and Bijapur districts.
