Raipur. Today is the second day of Indian President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Chhattisgarh. Today she will be on a tour of the capital Raipur and Bhilai. During this period the President will participate in many important programs. During this period, Raipur and Durg have been put on high alert regarding the security of President Murmu. More than one thousand police personnel and more than a hundred top police officers will handle security in different areas of Raipur and Bhilai. For this, additional forces have also been called from other districts. Besides, more than 100 officers including IG, DIG, Additional SP will be deployed on duty.

26 October 2024 (Day 2) 9 am: Visit to Vivekananda Sarovar, Raipur. 10 am: Departure for Bhilai from Raipur Airport. 11 am: Will attend the fourth convocation of IIT Bhilai. 1:30 pm: Will return from Bhilai to Raj Bhavan in Raipur. 3:30 pm: Will take part in the third convocation of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Medical and AYUSH University. 5 pm: After the convocation, she will depart from Raipur airport for Delhi.
Let us tell you, President Draupadi Murmu reached Raipur Airport in the morning on 25th October, the first day of her visit to Chhattisgarh and directly attended the second convocation of AIIMS. After this she reached Raj Bhavan from there. Also attended the 14th convocation of NIT Raipur at 3 pm. In the evening he also met the local tribals at Purkhauti Muktangan located in Nava Raipur. After this he rested for the night at Raj Bhavan.
