Raigarh Gang Rape Case: Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA OP Choudhary’s statement has come out in the gang rape case in Pusaur block of Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Minister OP Choudhary is very concerned about this incident and has called it very unfortunate. He said, ‘Special care is being taken to ensure that the identity of the victim is not made public and instructions have been given for strict action.

Minister OP Chaudhary while talking to the media said that we are taking special care that the identity of the victim should not be made public under any circumstances. Therefore, instead of meeting directly, we are talking indirectly through the administration-police and directly on the telephone and are constantly ensuring action on the case.

He said that within 24 hours of the incident of gang rape, the police registered an FIR and took action in the case and arrested seven out of eight accused and the one accused who was absconding, it has been found today that he has been found dead in Odisha. Apart from this, the police is paying special attention to ensure that the accused do not exert any kind of pressure on the victim and her family.

A special team should be formed

Minister OP Chaudhary said that he has specially discussed with the SP. Form a special team for this incident and investigate and submit the challan as soon as possible. Along with this, the police has been told to apply in the court to hear the case through a fast track court. Legally, the victim has been given a fast installment of the assistance amount. We are keeping an eye on all the things. We are constantly trying through the police administration to ensure that not a single accused is spared in the case and strict action is taken against everyone.

Request to Congressional Investigation Team

Along with this, Minister OP Chaudhary said on the investigation team formed by the Congress that I would like to request that whatever incident has happened is very unfortunate. The identity of the victim should not be made public in any way. This is very important from the point of view of law, morality and the future of the victim. Keeping this fact in mind, they should take any action, this is a request to the Congress.
