Raipur. India’s number one para-athlete Srimant Jha won gold medal in the 85+ kg category in the Asia Para-Arm Wrestling Cup. Shrimant Jha dedicated his gold medal to Indian soldiers. The Asia Para-Arm Wrestling Cup was organized in India from 19 to 26 October. After winning the gold medal, Srimant Jha has qualified for the World Para Armwrestling Championship in Bulgaria.

Jha said that this is a special victory for me. He has prepared well for the competition, now I will focus my attention on the upcoming international tournaments and will definitely try to make India proud again.

Shrimant is a resident of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Even before this, he has proved his mettle in many national and international competitions and has demonstrated his talent and has won many gold medals.

Jha is world number 3 and Asia’s number 1 para-arm wrestler. Born with four fingers in both hands.
