A person named Taran Bhaskar has made a written complaint to the police accusing the SI that when he refused to sell liquor illegally and give him commission, the SI caught him by the collar and abused him. Regarding this, Taran Bhaskar has made a complaint to the police and demanded action against SI Amit Shah.

Taran Bhaskar, a resident of Barmpur under Lalpur tehsil of Mungeli district, has made a written complaint to the police that Amih Shah, posted as Mungeli Excise Sub-Inspector, called me (the complainant) to his Mandi office by the manager of Kanteli liquor shop, asking me to sell liquor illegally and give him commission. After talking to the manager of the liquor shop, when he came out, he made me sit inside his Mandi office and harassed me by abusing me on caste lines, holding my collar and threatening me of being an officer, and said that he would take action against me by falsely accusing me of selling liquor and send me to jail.

At the same time, Youth Congress’s Mungeli Vidhan Sabha President Manjeet Ratre has also complained against Excise Department’s Deputy Inspector Amit Shah in the Collector’s Jandarshan. In which it has been said that Excise Deputy Inspector Amit Shah is extorting money illegally in the area, selling illegal liquor and forcibly implicating innocent people in false cases and extorting money, and is getting some of his favourites to sell liquor illegally, due to which the drug business is going on openly in the area, due to which the youth, children, elderly of the area are all getting affected, and there is an atmosphere of unrest in the area.

The police said this

Additional Superintendent of Police Pankaj Patel said in this case that a complaint has been received and investigation is being done on it. Action will be taken according to the facts that emerge in the investigation.

When Lalluram.com tried to know the side of Excise Sub Inspector Amit Shah in this matter, he said that all the allegations and complaints made against me are false and baseless. He said that action was taken against Taran Bhaskar earlier under the Excise Act by me, due to which this complaint has been made out of resentment.
