According to the information, at the time of the incident, Fulkumari was sitting in the verandah of the house and cutting vegetables, when suddenly lightning struck. The family immediately took her to SIMS hospital, but the doctors declared her dead after examination. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire family due to this incident. The police, who arrived after getting information about the incident, are registering a case and taking further action.

8 people died due to lightning in Rajnandgaon

On Monday, 8 people died due to lightning in Joratarai village of Rajnandgaon. These included 5 school children and 3 villagers. It is being told that all the people had stopped in the ruins under the tree to avoid the rain in the afternoon, when all of them died due to lightning. All the children who lost their lives in the accident were residents of Joratai who were returning home after giving their half-yearly examination.
