Balod. You must have often seen farmers growing paddy in the fields, but you would have rarely seen the scene of paddy being planted in the streets of the village. Due to the heavy rains for the last four days, the condition of the streets of village Mohlai in Balod district has deteriorated. Meanwhile, a unique protest is being carried out by the villagers to improve the streets of the village covered with mud. The villagers expressed their protest by planting paddy saplings in the mud spread in the village street, the video of which is going viral on social media.

In the viral video, some villagers are seen growing paddy in the streets of the village and criticizing the Sarpanch and the public representatives of the area. Meanwhile, a young woman living in the village said that it has been five years since the Sarpanch took over his post, but till date the road has not been constructed near her house. The girl said that every year during the rains, the condition of the streets and roads becomes like this and people have to travel through this muddy path. Many times the people of the village appealed to the Sarpanch, Secretary, Officer, MLA and public representatives to get the road built, but till now the road could not be built. Troubled by this, the people of the village planted paddy saplings on this muddy road.

Children have difficulty going to school
