Women’s Commission took cognizance of Loharidih violence case, wrote a letter to DGP, President Kiranmayi Nayak will reach Durg Jail tomorrow

Raipur. The Women’s Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of the misbehavior with the accused in Durg jail in the Loharidih violence case in Chhattisgarh. The State Women’s Commission has issued this letter to the Director General of Police and informed that the Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, will visit the jail tomorrow i.e. Saturday and meet the women of Kawardha in the case of misbehavior with the accused in the jail.

Let us tell you, after the death of Prashant Sahu, the accused in jail, on one hand politics is intensifying in the state, while on the other hand the administration is being accused of cruelty towards the prisoners. At the same time, the video of the mistreatment of the prisoners of Loharidih violence in jail is going viral on social media, after which the State Women Commission has taken suo motu cognizance.
