Manoj Jarange Patil on Shinde Committee: No Time Given, Demands Immediate Action

Manoj Jarange demanded time from the Shinde committee. Jarange Patil said, “If nothing happens by Saturday-Sunday, not a single Maratha child will remain at home. They will not be seen in Maratha houses in Maharashtra. Six-seven days are left. Not much time has passed. They should implement it by taking your report. Declare the Marathas of Marathwada as Kunbi and issue certificates from tomorrow.” He further stated, “Implement the Satara State Gazetteer. We will give fifteen to twenty days for the Aundh state and Bombay government gazetteers, but we will not give a minute to implement the Hyderabad and Satara state gazetteers.” He said that they had given 13 months. The Shinde committee has studied a lot. According to both these gazetteers, the Marathas of Marathwada are Kunbis. Jarange Patil also mentioned that there is no dispute or contradiction.
