During a religious gathering in Larkipora Aishmukan, Anantnag, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed strong disapproval of Pakistan’s actions, accusing the nation of attempting to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir. He specifically pointed out Pakistan’s efforts to obstruct the region’s development and create divisions among communities. Sinha unequivocally described Pakistan as a ‘terrorist nation’ aiming to undo the progress made in J&K over the last five years. He stressed the importance of a unified front against Pakistan’s agenda and the need for public cooperation in supporting security forces. The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the patience demonstrated by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also underscored the significance of Kashmir’s spiritual heritage in promoting harmony and tolerance, and highlighted the ongoing celebrations of various religious events as proof of a peaceful environment.
