A man in Andhra Pradesh was defrauded through a marriage bureau. The man, named Karthik, deposited four lakh rupees at the marriage bureau, after which he married a woman. They lived together for 20 days before the woman disappeared, never to return. Karthik tried to contact her and two others known to her, but their numbers were disconnected. He then reported the incident to the police. The police investigated and arrested the woman and her associates, who had orchestrated the fraud via the marriage bureau. This incident occurred in the Holagunda Mandal of Kurnool district, specifically in the village of Muddatamagi.
