Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated ‘Mission Shakti-5.0’ in Lucknow, underscoring the significant advancements made in women’s welfare across Uttar Pradesh since 2017. The initiative focuses on enhancing the safety, educational opportunities, and nutritional well-being of women. Adityanath spoke about the positive transformation in the state, citing improved conditions for women and girls, and crediting the government’s work to curb criminal activities. He mentioned the upgraded Anganwadi centers and the provision of tablets for students. Mission Shakti-5.0, set to begin during Sharadiya Navratri on September 22, will build on the success of the previous four phases. The government plans to extend the program’s reach by coordinating efforts across various departments and increasing police patrols throughout the state, ensuring the continued operation of PRV-112 vehicles.
