In Motihari, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a Griha Pravesh event, handing over keys for Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) houses to 12,000 beneficiaries. Additionally, he released over Rs 160 crore to 40,000 beneficiaries. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi stated that the number of houses provided to Bihar under the PMAY-G exceeded the total populations of Norway, New Zealand, and Singapore. He also compared the financial support Bihar received during the UPA government’s tenure with the increased funding provided during the NDA’s ten years in power. He emphasized that Bihar’s advancement is crucial for the country’s progress, focusing on the role of the youth in achieving this.
