The IMD has issued warnings and advisories, emphasizing the uneven but intense nature of this year’s rainfall. Yellow and Red alerts are in effect for several states, including East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Uttar Pradesh, South Haryana, East Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan. Delhi residents have welcomed the rain. The IMD forecasts continued rain with thunderstorms and lightning until July 17. Light showers are anticipated in southern states such as Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, while hot and humid conditions are expected in specific regions of East Assam, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema.
