Several flights experienced technical difficulties on Thursday, leading to returns and emergency landings. An Agartala-bound IndiGo flight was forced to turn back to Kolkata shortly after departing. A technical glitch reported mid-air necessitated the return. In a separate event, an IndiGo flight heading to Leh made an emergency landing at Delhi’s IGI Airport due to a technical snag. IndiGo has responded by initiating comprehensive maintenance checks and arranging alternate aircraft to mitigate travel delays. In addition, a Hyderabad-Tirupati SpiceJet flight also made an emergency landing after encountering a technical issue. The SpiceJet flight experienced an intermittent illumination of the AFT baggage door light after take-off.
