An incident in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old army officer, Harshpal Mahadev Waghmare, following a car crash that injured an estimated 25 to 30 people. Waghmare, who is part of the Indian Army and was on leave from Assam, allegedly drove his vehicle into a crowd while intoxicated. The incident took place around 8:30 pm on Sunday as Waghmare was traveling towards Hamlapuri via Durga Chowk.
