The BJP is gearing up for a nationwide ‘Seva Pakhwada’ to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on September 17th. This period of service will extend from September 17th to October 2nd, encompassing Gandhi Jayanti. The party’s plans involve a range of activities, including cleanliness drives, tree planting, and the creation of ‘Namo Vans.’ Blood donation camps and the distribution of books and documentaries about the Prime Minister are also part of the agenda. Emphasis will be given to promoting local products through the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative. The campaign will include setting up health camps and establishing ‘Namo Parks’ in 75 cities. This tradition of celebrating PM Modi’s birthday with service activities has been ongoing since 2014, when he first became Prime Minister.
