YEIDA is moving forward with its Master Plan 2041 by initiating land acquisition from farmers. The acquired land will be utilized for the development of new sectors, including both industrial and residential areas. Farmers will be compensated with a monetary value and offered residential plots. The government’s emphasis on prior land ownership before plot scheme launches aims to streamline the development process and avoid potential conflicts. Land acquisition is currently focused on villages in Sector-5, Sector-8, and Sector-9, along with the remainder of land in sectors 24A, 32, and 29. While Sector-5 will be residential, Sectors 8 and 9 are designated for industrial purposes. YEIDA plans to introduce plot schemes near the Noida International Airport promptly. Several industrial parks already exist, and the handover of residential plots in Sector-24A is imminent.
