YEIDA has approved a significant project including 30,000 plots for economically weaker sections and an entertainment area near the Noida International Airport. The board meeting decided on the development of a golf course, gymkhana, and Delhi Haat in this zone. The affordable housing scheme targets families with an annual income under Rs 3 lakh, providing 30-square-meter plots. The initial phase will involve 4,268 plots across Sectors 17, 18, and 20. Furthermore, the approved developments encompass a new police station, two fire stations, and various recreational facilities, all situated within the ‘recreational green zones’ as designated in the 2041 Master Plan. These strategic moves are designed to transform the region into a prominent hub for business and leisure, leveraging the presence of the airport.
