Multiple regions in northeastern India, including Manipur, Nagaland, and Assam, were affected by tremors resulting from a 4.7-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Myanmar on Tuesday. The seismic event took place close to the India-Myanmar border. The earthquake’s origin was pinpointed 27 km southeast of Ukhrul in Manipur. The National Center for Seismology reported the earthquake’s occurrence at 6:10 am on Tuesday, September 30.
