Lucknow police are investigating the suicide of a young boy, attributing the cause to an addiction to online gaming. The boy had reportedly lost a significant sum, 14 lakh rupees, from his father’s savings. DCP South Nipun Aggarwal emphasized the importance of parental oversight regarding children’s online engagements. The boy’s extreme action followed a scolding from his father, prompted by the financial loss. The funds were intended for medical purposes, according to the police investigation.
