Operation Sindoor to be Debated in Lok Sabha During Monsoon Session

The Parliament’s Monsoon Session in 2025 will feature a significant discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’. The Lok Sabha will dedicate time to analyze India’s military action following the Pahalgam terror attack. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is slated to speak at the session. The parliamentary proceedings will likely include a heated debate among leading figures from the government and the opposition. The agenda highlights a ‘Special Discussion’ on India’s ‘Operation Sindoor,’ which was launched in response to the Pahalgam terrorist incident. The attack in Pahalgam on April 22, in Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of twenty-six civilians. India responded with precision strikes, known as Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK. The monsoon session, commencing on July 21, has been marked by frequent interruptions as the opposition presses for discussions on critical matters like the Pahalgam attack and the Bihar Election Commission’s SIR exercise.
