Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of AIMIM, has made a critical statement regarding the Mahagathbandhan, a coalition including RJD and Congress, in the context of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. He used the phrase “Mummy, they stole our chocolate,” indicating that the coalition should not express regret after the elections. Speaking to NDTV, Owaisi responded to questions about a possible alliance with the Mahagathbandhan. Furthermore, Owaisi voiced his apprehensions about the Election Commission conducting what he perceives as an NRC through the back door. He stated that new rules requiring proof of birth and parentage could disadvantage many citizens, especially in the flood-prone areas of Seemanchal.
