Fresh off Pakistan’s T20 World Cup drubbing by India, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi unleashed a verbal salvo. ‘This country shuns legitimate games for the deadly pursuit of terrorism,’ he stated in a New Delhi IANS interaction.
Outlining Pakistan’s misfortunes, Naqvi noted, ‘Defeat shadows them against India everywhere—from stadiums to summits. Terror obsession yields only isolation and defeat.’
On uproar over ‘Vande Mataram’ norms, Naqvi urged introspection. ‘Faith that falters at a national hymn is frail. Vande Mataram fuels India’s patriotic core.’
Targeting Congress’s Harshavardhan Sapkal in the Tipu controversy, he said, ‘Election loss has clouded his judgment, drawing false parallels between Tipu and Shivaji despite widespread disdain.’
Countering Priyank Kharge, Naqvi affirmed, ‘We march on in development; they drown in grief.’
He lauded Election Commission crackdowns in West Bengal’s chaos. ‘State-sponsored illegality reveals TMC’s allegiance to disorder over governance. Their regime teeters.’
Endorsing Amit Shah’s critique, Naqvi accused Rahul Gandhi of deceit. ‘Lies and farmer deception are his trademarks, always complicating national gains.’
Naqvi’s remarks energize discourse on rivalry, identity, and leadership.
