Patna Police Investigating the Murder of RJD Leader Rajkumar Rai

A prominent leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Rajkumar Rai, was murdered in Patna on Wednesday evening. The shooting took place in lane number seventeen in front of Rajendra Nagar Terminal. The police confirmed that Rai, also known as Ala Rai, was targeted and that the assailants were captured on CCTV. Following the attack, Rai sought refuge inside a nearby shop, but ultimately died from his injuries. Authorities are exploring all potential motives, including Rai’s political activities and involvement in land transactions. Police have recovered six shells from the scene.
