On September 22, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. The Prime Minister’s itinerary involves the unveiling of numerous development initiatives in Itanagar, totaling over Rs 5,100 crore. He will also deliver a speech to the attendees. A key highlight will be the foundation stone laying for two major hydropower projects within the Siyom sub-basin: the Heo Hydro Electric Project, generating 240 MW, and the Tato-I Hydro Electric Project, generating 186 MW. Furthermore, PM Modi will officiate the launch of a new convention center in Tawang. Significant infrastructure projects, with a budget exceeding Rs 1,290 crore, will also be launched across various sectors. The visit will then continue to Tripura, where the Prime Minister will inaugurate the developmental work at the ‘Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Complex’ located in Matabari.
