Highlighting the spirit of national pride, the Prime Minister also urged citizens to support local artisans and businesses by purchasing ‘swadeshi’ products during the festive period. He encouraged a collective celebration of the innovation and dedication of 140 crore Indians, urging them to proudly declare ‘Garv Se Kaho Yeh Swadeshi Hai!’ and inspire others through social media sharing. The vibrant celebrations were exemplified by Ayodhya’s Deepotsav, which set a Guinness World Record with over 2.6 million diyas lit along the Saryu River, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
