On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his day in Kolkata, immediately after his Assam visit. He is set to inaugurate and speak at the 16th Combined Commanders’ Conference-2025, held at Fort William, the Eastern Command of the Indian Army. Subsequently, PM Modi will proceed to Bihar, specifically Purnea, to unveil various development projects worth Rs 36,000 crore. The projects comprise the establishment of the National Makhana Board and the opening of a new airport. The visit to Purnea holds strategic significance for the BJP’s electoral prospects in the region.
