Law enforcement agencies are actively searching for the source of a threatening call targeting Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The North West District Police was notified by the Ghaziabad Police late Thursday night concerning the threat. An anonymous caller contacted the Ghaziabad Police PCR, issuing a death threat against the Chief Minister. Ghaziabad ACP Ritesh Tripathi detailed the event, explaining that the call was received by the Ghaziabad Commissionerate’s Kotwali police station on June 5, 2025. The Delhi control room was immediately informed, and the Delhi Police responded quickly. The police are currently attempting to trace the phone number from which the call was made. Surveillance is ongoing, and investigative teams have been formed. The police aim to locate the caller and take appropriate legal measures. Both Ghaziabad and Delhi Police are working together to solve the case. Additional information will be released as the investigation unfolds.
