Pregnant Woman Murdered and Dismembered by Husband in Hyderabad

In a gruesome case, a husband in Hyderabad, Telangana, has been arrested for murdering his pregnant wife and dismembering her body. The incident occurred in the Medipally police station area of Medchal district. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Swathi alias Jyoti, was killed by her husband, Mahendra Reddy. After the murder, Reddy cut up her body, hiding some parts and discarding others in a river. The couple had been living in a rented accommodation in Boduppal, Medipally, for about a month. The police have taken Mahendra Reddy into custody. The motive is believed to be domestic dispute. Swathi and Mahendra Reddy both originated from Vikarabad district.
