The Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken action against Sajjad Gul, the founder of The Resistance Front (TRF), by attaching properties valued at Rs 2 crore. The TRF, a group affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba, was behind the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22nd. The seized property is a three-story residential building located in Srinagar. The attachment was carried out under the UAPA in connection with FIR No. 235/2022. The action is a part of the ongoing efforts to curb terrorism and signals a strong stance against those who support or engage in terrorist activities. Sajjad Gul, also known as Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, was declared a terrorist in 2022.
