Khadeera Banu, a four-year-old girl from Davangere, Karnataka, passed away from rabies at a Bengaluru hospital, highlighting the dangers associated with stray dog bites. The girl was bitten by a stray dog in April, suffering significant injuries to her face and other parts of her body. Following the attack, she received initial medical care at a local hospital before being transferred to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Bengaluru for more comprehensive treatment. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, the rabies infection proved fatal.
