Raebareli Woman Severes Husband’s Genitals After Dispute; CBI Rescues Missing Minor from Rajasthan

A woman in the Jagdishpur area of Raebareli district in Uttar Pradesh has been arrested for allegedly attacking her husband and severing his genitals. The incident involved Ansar Ahmed, who was attacked by his second wife, Nazneen Bano, after a disagreement. Ahmed received immediate medical attention and was later transferred to AIIMS, Raebareli. Police have launched an investigation. Simultaneously, the CBI has rescued a minor girl who had been missing from Bardhaman, West Bengal, since August 2023. The CBI located the missing girl in Pali, Rajasthan, acting on information and analysis of call records. The High Court of Calcutta had earlier ordered the CBI to take over the case.
