Rahul Gandhi Accuses PM Modi of Silence Amidst Corruption Allegations

Rahul Gandhi, during his ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ in Motihari, Bihar, renewed his criticism of PM Modi. He pointed out the Prime Minister’s silence in response to Gandhi’s persistent accusations. Gandhi stated, if I’m accusing you daily, why are you silent? He argued that a Prime Minister aware of being caught in corruption will remain silent. Gandhi also claimed that Modi is afraid because his actions have been exposed, making escape impossible. The Congress MP also highlighted internal dissent, mentioning messages from BJP MPs urging him to stop calling the Prime Minister a ‘thief.’ He emphasized the necessity of speaking the truth, drawing parallels to the historic Champaran movement, which started in Bihar and spread nationwide. He suggested the revelations made in Mahadevpura would have a similar impact across the country.
