Rahul Gandhi, while participating in the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, accused the Election Commission of being in cahoots with the BJP. Gandhi expressed his dissatisfaction over the lack of response from the Election Commission regarding his queries. He referenced the Karnataka elections, where he had questioned the origin of one lakh voters, but received no answer. Gandhi contrasted his situation with that of Anurag Thakur, who he claimed wasn’t asked for an affidavit. He suggested that the Election Commission’s actions indicate a bias, working in collaboration with the BJP. The Yatra is seeing considerable public support. Gandhi expressed determination to prevent any election fraud in Bihar, emphasizing the importance of a fair electoral process. Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD supported Gandhi’s statements, stating that the Election Commission has lost its credibility and is now acting as a BJP cell.
