The roof of Piplodi Primary School in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, collapsed on Friday, leading to the loss of life of at least four students. Several other children were injured in the incident. The Superintendent of Police, Amit Kumar, confirmed the fatalities and the injuries. The District Collector also arrived at the site to coordinate rescue and relief efforts. The incident drew reactions from political figures. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed sorrow, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the event tragic and offered support to the affected families. President Droupadi Murmu also shared her condolences, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and extending her prayers for the victims and their families.
