Rajnath Singh, the Defense Minister, highlighted the necessity of integrating drones into war strategy, recognizing their crucial role in modern warfare. He pointed out that the term ‘aircraft’ often conjures images of Tejas, Rafale, and fighter jets. However, Singh emphasized the rise of drones as a significant force in this domain, now being deployed in areas inaccessible to larger equipment. Referring to the Russia-Ukraine war, Singh noted the extensive use of drones, proving their significance in modern conflict. The minister stated that when Indian drones take to the skies, they cannot be tracked by either the US or China. He inaugurated the largest aero engine test center in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, built by Rafale Mfiber Private Limited.
