Delhi Police have expanded their investigation into the November 10th Red Fort blast by issuing urgent notices to private hospitals. The focus is on identifying and gathering details about doctors working within the National Capital Region who possess medical degrees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, the UAE, or China.
This initiative is part of a wider effort to trace any potential links associated with Umar Nabi, identified as the suicide bomber in the Red Fort incident. Investigations are now reaching beyond Faridabad’s Al-Falah University, probing deeper into Umar’s activities and connections. The university has become a key site, with around 30 doctors being questioned about Umar and his demeanor.
Sources reveal that doctors at Al-Falah University described Umar as having a generally rude disposition and being highly private about his personal space. The police are also examining critical digital evidence, including videos found on a phone recovered from Umar. These videos reportedly contain extremist ideologies and justifications for violence. Investigators hope to use this material to uncover his network and any accomplices.
This intensified probe follows the arrest of several individuals suspected of involvement in the Red Fort blast and a terror network. The arrests include medical professionals implicated in the case, highlighting the multi-faceted nature of the ongoing investigation into the complex terror plot.
