Authorities have detained Salman in connection with a mysterious explosion that rocked a Hyundai i20 car near the historic Red Fort in Delhi. The vehicle, bearing license plate HR 26 7624, reportedly detonated while in motion, with three people inside. During initial questioning, Salman stated that he had previously sold the i20 to Devendra, a resident of Okhla, who then transferred ownership to someone in Ambala, Haryana. Investigators are collaborating with the Regional Transport Office to ascertain the car’s true owner. Law enforcement highlighted peculiar aspects of the blast, noting the absence of typical bomb blast indicators like craters or shrapnel, which has added complexity to the investigation. The Union Home Minister, who visited the blast site and met with the injured, confirmed that a comprehensive inquiry is in progress, involving elite forensic and intelligence teams to quickly uncover the origin of the blast.
