Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta campaigned in Ludhiana, Punjab, rallying support for BJP candidate Jiwan Gupta ahead of the by-election on June 19. In her address, Gupta urged voters to embrace the BJP’s vision for Punjab, emphasizing service, good governance, and prosperity. She mentioned the aspirations of Punjab’s residents for safety, improved education, robust infrastructure, and an end to the drug problem. Gupta pointed out the necessity of strong national leadership, particularly highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in the state’s progress. She also targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing them of corruption and mismanagement similar to that seen in Delhi. Furthermore, she commended Prime Minister Modi for his efforts to safeguard Punjab and criticized the Congress for perceived lack of patriotism.
